Investing in our future
The McLaren Trainee Technician Scheme - working in partnership with a local college, we are investing in future manufacturing skills that would otherwise be lost from our community, whilst encouraging the mentoring skills of some of our most valued and long standing employees.

The McLaren Graduate Programme - targeted specifically at high achievers who demonstrate exceptional levels of both general and emotional intelligence, who will become our next generation of leaders.

Growing our internal talent
We offer our people a core range of learning and development opportunities that include bespoke internal courses on a range of topics from Influencing Skills to Managing Your Career, along with externally accredited courses.

Development days
We aim to offer regular opportunities for mass participation in development to our people through short bursts of learning across the Technology Centre, making the most of our extraordinary environment to energise the concept of learning. Sessions include topics such as creativity and team building.

Networking opportunities
Informal networks are encouraged from the beginning of people's careers at McLaren through the "You're in Good Company" induction programme, which offers all new entrants the opportunity to gain a unique insight into each business within the Group and the culture of the organisation from the leadership team.

The Quarterly Lunch - an opportunity for talent from across the McLaren Group of Companies to meet the COO and hear the strategy and vision of the business first hand.
A series of sessions and masterclasses run by staff for staff - to broaden knowledge and awareness of different areas of the business, key projects, career opportunities, etc.
